Which panty style works for you?

We all have go-to styles when it comes to our bottoms. Whether you are used to a thong, boyshort, or basic brief, we're offering some great tips to help you figure out which panty styles will work best for your body and lifestyle.

We make a distinction between bra fitting and lingerie styling because we offer so much more in our fitting rooms. We want all women to feel beautiful and confident in their lingerie--bras and bottoms. We will highlight a few key shapes here to help guide you in your quest for the perfect bottoms, but if you are still unsure please book a style & fit appointment with one of our expert lingerie stylists.

Basic Bikini

This tends to be the default choice for most women as they are comfortable work great for a variety of body types. Bikinis provide a moderate amount of coverage in an easy to wear cut. Be sure to check your panty line if you are wearing bikini briefs under tight clothing! For functional and fashionable basic bikinis try the PrimaDonna Iris collection, available online in charcoal and nude.

High-Waist Briefs

High- Waist briefs are great because they provide a little more tummy coverage without looking like granny panties. The high-rise covers the lower belly, and sits at your natural waistline so it's not cutting into your tummy. High-waist briefs are a great choice to wear with dresses that cinch at the waist, or for wearing on the daily if you are looking to smooth your belly and hips. For a show-stopping high-waist brief try Andres Sarda Ginger collection.

Wide-Waistband Thong

Thongs with a wide waistband are great for extra coverage if you want to avoid rolling, bunching or shifting under your clothing while still eliminating VPL. The wider band allows for a stronger, firmer fit on your body, making this option great for ladies who could use a little extra grip at the hips. Try our Marie Jo Jane collection for a great wide-waistband thong.

Boyshorts

If you want to avoid midsection bulges but don't love constricting high-waist styles, this is the perfect solution. Boyshorts sit low on your waist, avoiding snug bands on your belly area but still giving you the panty-line-free backside. It's a great solution if you don't like thongs but still want to avoid VPL.  Try Marie Jo color studio boyshorts and hot pants to achieve this look.
